The Bag of the Summer!

Some moments feel like they’re meant to happen. The first time I spotted The ACK Sack was at Cisco Brewery on Nantucket; carried effortlessly by a woman in the most chill, easygoing summer outfit, surrounded by her family. As fate would have it, that woman was Kiki, the owner of The ACK Sack herself. Her energy was exactly what you’d hope for: fun, approachable, and full of those quintessential Nantucket East Coast summer vibes. And of course, the bag she carried was just as timeless as her style.

From that moment, I knew I needed to find one.  The ACK Sack has this rare kind of magic, playful without being too trendy, classy without being too serious. It’s the kind of piece that feels like a forever staple, while still sparking joy every time you grab it.

YES, I planned a girls night around this bag...DUH!  I styled a girls’ beach picnic styled the day in shades of pink, soft blankets, flowers, and plenty of champagne ready to be poured. It was all set against the backdrop of Minot Beach in Scituate, a picture-perfect setting for a summer evening together.

Looking back, The ACK Sack is more than just a bag. It’s a reminder of Cisco afternoons, pink picnics, rainy beach days turned into laughter-filled nights, and the joy of weaving something fun and meaningful together. And at the heart of it all is Kiki, whose spirit, style, and vision capture everything we love about summer by the sea.
